Rachel Maccabee

Hand Therapist

Rachel spent the first 7 years of her career in the North East of England. She specialised initially in hands burns and plastics. After working abroad for a year she returned to the UK and settled in London, entering Hand Orthopaedics and Rheumatology private practice. Rachel also has a diploma in sports massage therapy and is a qualified Acupuncturist, incorporating both into her hand therapy treatment. Rachel can make bespoke splints from thermoplastic material or neoprene to assist in your rehabilitation, and loves how she can mix art and medicine together.

Rachel has a particular soft spot for PIP joint injuries and the stiff hand.
